So this post is a little more quirky than our usual posts about travel. We’re going to share some of our favourite travel captions and quotes! I’m always surprised how easy it is to match certain travel quotes to our own lives. Whether they’re funny travel quotes, family travel quotes or travel quotes by famous people, so many reflect our own thoughts and feelings about travel. If you’re also a lover of photography like I am, travel quotes can be great to use for travel captions for Instagram as well!
Travel Captions to Show your Followers the Personal Impact of Travel
Every place we visit, whether it be far away or close to home, teaches our family a little more about the world and those we share it with. Each trip makes an impact on us personally. We experience culture and get first-hand knowledge about history. We make new friends and learn more about ourselves and each other.

Adventure Travel Quotes: Let your Travel Captions Show Your Wild Side
I’ll be honest. I’m not an adventure traveller. I love history and exploring new places but I much prefer to do it in a calm way that doesn’t make my heart race. I get enough of that when we’re late for a flight!
That said, whenever I read an amazing adventure travel caption, it makes me wish I actually wanted to feel that way.

Wise Travel Quotes to Share in Your Travel Captions
Travel isn’t for everyone but to truly know whether you’ll actually love travelling, you need to at least try it! I started travelling when I was much older than most. I already had three young children and John had started travelling for work and suggested we spend the summer in Switzerland. I had never left North America and thought he had lost his mind. It turns out, it was a huge part of my life that I didn’t know was missing. It is now my passion and I strive to give our kids as many travel experiences as we can. Who knows, if you share a few of these travel captions in your Instagram feed, some of your followers might just be sparked to take that very first step!

Such great quotes! I particularly loved the funny section – I hadn’t heard some of those before. But this is one that may or may not be one of my life mottos lol: “Because in the end, you won’t remember the time you spent working in the office or mowing your lawn. Hi Joanne,
that’s an interesting compilation of travel quotes. I love especially the “Tourists don’t know where they’ve been, travelers don’t know where they’re going.”, as it reminds me of the different types of travel. Even I would never say that I don’t know have where I have been,, but depending on the reason and the circumstances of my trip, I would also say that I am sometimes a traveler (luckily more often) and a few times just a tourist.
