I am a vegan and I really hope that all these lovely restaurants have some vegan options as well. My family, however, would love to try out one of these delicious looking seafood. Great recommendations.

I love seafood and would love to especially dine at BaixaMar. I was impressed by the display at the entrance. The variety of seafood they displayed looked delicious and those crabs were huge!

Saving this for a return trip to Lisbon. I was there only once and just for a day after we disembarked from a Windstar Cruise.

Portugal is nothing like what I expected it would be. We visited a Portuguese restaurant in Macau and the kids were only 5,7, and 9 and they ate snails for the first time.

You’ve reminded me just how much we loved the seafood in Lisbon and Cascais. Looking back over the years, I have very little idea where we ate on any visit, although at least one of the places above looks familiar: the tiny one at the top of the stairs. We’ve been hosted by a friend from the city, so never noted where we went, although we had some epic meals. But inspired by your gorgeous pictures – and why is it not lunchtime yet? – I added squid to today’s shopping list.

These seafood restaurants all sound divine and my mouth is watering. The lobster and prawn risotto at Maria Catita is calling me! I need to get to Lisbon and try some of these places. I’ll be sure to book ahead of time too.

I am a vegetarian but my husband would love to check out these Portuguese seafood restaurant as he is a fan of seafood. Nice compilation.

I have heard about Lisbon’s food scene in general, but in particular its seafood. I absolutely LOVE seafood. I think Maria Catita would be the one I would want to try most. Good tip on making reservations for the different restaurants since they are small!
