I know that we will get there one day, and would love to visit this mountain. They afford the best views. It looks like a great place for families giving kids lots of options of things to do.

We really should visit Switzerland more often! It’s not that far away from our home in Luxembourg, but somehow we rarely go there. Probably because they use another currency and thus we prefer staying in the EU zone. Still, we were talking about visiting Lucerne someday. When we do, we’ll certainly also head to Mount Pilatus! It’s good to know that it’s one of Switzerland’s most easily accessible peaks! Because we don’t see ourselves hiking up the other huge Swiss mountains.. haha!

Looks like you packed in a ton of fun sightseeing and activities into one day. I would love to visit this area while I am in Switzerland. Great tip about getting upgraded to the top deck of the ferry for the best views.

How fun! I did a similar trip to Jungfrau but no toboggan on my trip. That would have been ultimate, thought the temperatures were 40 below. I was not prepared for the whiteout at the top of those mountains. Thanks for sharing. I’d never heard of this mountain before.

Great article and I’m glad your son was OK!! We were in Lucerne last month and went up Mt. Titlis and loved it! We hope to return and next time check out Mt. Pilatus!
