Bella Italia! Italy is a destination that I’ve always wanted to visit. Not craved to visit like Paris, but wanted to visit. Now, I can’t wait to return to explore the 98% of the country that I haven’t yet experienced. A week in Rome is but a taste of everything that beautiful Italy has to offer, yet for now, that’s all I can offer of my own experiences. I read once that “Rome is not like any other city. It’s a big museum. A living room that shall be crossed on one’s tiptoes” (Alberto Sordi) This is a quote truly describes the city that was once the largest city in the world. Where ever you walk, you are surrounded by ancient ruins, yet to be discovered. It’s is truly unbelievable.
