Hi Nicole. We didn’t rent a car but if I recall correctly, you can’t cross the border with a rental. You’d have to rent one in Montenegro and another in Albania. That said, things may have changed since our visit so it’s worth looking into. We hired a company as a driver in Montenegro and they drove us to our first stop in Albania where we had another company drive us for a few days. There rates were really reasonable. After our 5 nights in Montenegro and 5 nights in Albania we took the ferry to Corfu for another 5 nights so we flew home from Corfu. We rarely do round trips to and from the same airport as the other option allows us to see more of the area and it doesn’t cost any more. Any other questions don’t hesitate to reach out. I am visiting Canada with my 13 year old granddaughter in August,. from England. My grandson, 10 years old , lives with his mum in Ontario. We will be in Toronto for a day and night. Is it a good idea to buy a join ticket for the aquarium and CN tower.? If we get a timed ticket for midday can we visit the tower any time after or is that timed too.? They both sound amazing.
