I’ll agree that hiring private guides are much better than group tours. It definitely is more convenient. We had hired one on our visit to Jordan. Since you travel with kids it does make it easier for them to ask questions. Thanks for sharing the list of these private guides with us.

Sometimes I love to hire guides as they become nice travel companion with lots of local information and a friend from the foreign land. I am saving your post as it has useful information on reliable and trusted tour guides which are not easily available anywhere else.
