We spent a month in Lyon last year and we absolutely loved it. It’s one of my favorite cities in France, and I’m glad it made this list. I’d love to visit some of the other cities too, although I think I would want more than just a day to spend in the cities.

I don’t realize that Strasbourg is only about 2 hours away with TGV train from Paris. So, it will be my first choice when I get to go to Paris again.

I had no idea that there were so many places in easy reach of Paris for a day trip. The only day trip I have done from Paris was to Chartres.
